Privacy Policy

szns ("we", "us", the "App") analyzes a selfie and a short quiz to determine your seasonal color type and to help you style outfits. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1.Photos, Face Data & Face Analysis
What face data we collect. The App works with the following face-related data: (a) the selfie photo you provide; (b) face landmark regions (skin, eye, and hair areas) detected by Apple's Vision framework; (c) numeric color values (hue/saturation/brightness averages) derived from those regions; and (d) a Vision "feature print" used only to recognize which person in a group photo is you.
How it is used and where it is processed. Face landmark detection, feature prints, and color extraction run entirely on your device and never leave it. The selfie photo itself is transmitted in two cases: (1) to our processing service for AI-assisted season analysis when you create a profile, and (2) as a reference photo alongside an outfit scan so the AI can identify you in the photo being scored (see "AI Processing" below). Face data is used solely to determine your seasonal color type and to score your outfits — never for advertising, identification across services, or any other purpose.
Storage and retention. Your selfie and derived color values are stored locally on your device. On our servers, images are processed transiently in memory only — they are never written to storage, and no copy is retained after the response is generated. We do not use your photos or face data to train models, we do not sell them, and we do not share them with anyone except the AI processing providers described in "AI Processing" below.
Deletion. Deleting a profile in the App deletes its selfie, thumbnails, and all derived analysis from your device; deleting the App removes all locally stored data. Because we retain no face data server-side, there is nothing further to delete on our end.
2.Your Wardrobe Stays on Your Device
Saved outfits in your Wardrobe — including outfit cutouts and their metadata — are local-only. This data never leaves your device. When the AI stylist reasons over your wardrobe, the tools that read that data execute on-device.
3.AI Processing & Third-Party AI Services
Some features send data to our backend service (hosted on Cloudflare) so that a server-side AI model can respond. The App asks for your explicit consent before the first time any of this data is sent. What is sent:
- Season analysis — your selfie is sent to be analyzed for your seasonal color type.
- Outfit scoring — the outfit image you scan is sent to be scored, together with your selfie as a reference photo and your season and palette.
- Stylist chat — the messages you send, plus your season and palette, are processed to generate a reply.
- "What to wear" — coarse weather conditions (city, temperature, conditions), your season, and your selected gender are sent to generate a suggestion.
- Garment detection — the outfit image is sent to be segmented into garments.
Who processes it. Our backend forwards these requests to third-party AI inference providers: OpenRouter (which routes to the AI model that analyzes images and generates text) and fal.ai (which runs the garment-segmentation model). These providers process your content transiently to generate a response and are contractually restricted from using API content to train their models. We do not store your content on our servers, we do not use it to build advertising profiles, and we do not sell it to anyone.
4.Location & Weather
If you enable the weather features, we request a one-time device location through Apple's Core Location and use Apple WeatherKit to produce the weather card and the "what to wear" suggestion. We use your location only to fetch local weather; we do not track your movements or keep a location history.
5.Purchases
The paid Drip Scanner subscription is handled by RevenueCat and Apple's App Store. We do not receive or store your full payment card details — those are handled by Apple. RevenueCat processes an anonymous identifier and subscription status to manage your entitlement.
6.Analytics
We use Mixpanel to understand how the App is used (for example, which screens are opened and which features are used) so we can improve it. This data is used in aggregate and is not used to determine your color analysis.
7.Notifications & Microphone
- Notifications — with your permission, we send local reminders. These are generated on your device.
- Microphone / Speech — the stylist prompt bar supports dictation. Speech recognition runs on-device.
8.Data Retention & Deletion
Data stored on your device (profiles, wardrobe, scan history, images) remains until you delete it in the App or delete the App itself. Deleting the App removes locally stored data from your device.
9.Children
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
10.Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
